Propagation & Nursery Management
April 8th & 29th
Join our event on propagation and nursery management for an immersive learning experience! Learn from HIP Agriculture's Farm Manager Seth McDonough how to propagate vegetable starts and manage them in a nursery and screenhouse. Gain skills on successfully germinating, raising plants from seed, propagating crops, and dealing with pests and disease in the nursery. Donna Maltz, a master seed saver, will teach you how to save your own seed. In addition, HIP AG Director Dash Kuhr will present a variety of plant propagation techniques in an agroforestry environment, with a focus on native and canoe crops. Take your learning to the next level and consider adding a potential offering on building a hoop-house in a backyard farm environment!
