Join us for Sustainable Animal Husbandry on Saturday, November 1st from 9 AM to noon at Kahua Paʻa Mua (KAPA Farm) in Kapanaiʻa, Hālawa.

This hands-on workshop will cover approachable methods for raising pork, poultry, and other backyard or homestead livestock. Learn how to care for newborn piglets, build and use chicken tractors, and integrate Korean Natural Farming (KNF) techniques to support healthy animals and thriving soils. Participants will gain practical, place-based skills rooted in regenerative practices that emphasize animal welfare, food security, and sustainability. Whether you’re a new or experienced farmer, this workshop offers valuable insights for creating balanced, thriving farm ecosystems.

Location: 52-4477 Akoni Pule Hwy, Kapanaiʻa, Hālawa

Directions: Coming from the west, at Mile Marker 26, pass the single-vehicle narrow bridge. Turn left at the gate directly after the bridge.
