Beginner Farmer Training
5.5 Month Residential Training Program

Our most immersive and thorough educational experience. Twice a year the HIP Agriculture team hosts two cohorts for five and a half months on our working organic farm. Our Residential Farmer Training program is best for those interested in pursuing careers in the agricultural industry.

We are currently accepting applicants between the ages of 18-28 years old who are seeking agricultural career training in market gardening and tropical agroforestry. Trainees participate in a dynamic schedule of farm projects each week in exchange for hands-on training, unique educational experiences, fresh farm food, and rustic off-grid housing with access to communal facilities (laundry, kitchen & bath), as well as a stipend.
